China Carbon Neutral?

I have a high opinion of China’s ability to negotiate the diplomatic and environmental hurdles ahead - I met with Robert Lai from The China Cyber Recreation District a few months back and what impressed me about him most was the sense of political maturity. Browsing through links on the carrot revolution I found this. It’s an invite to a meeting, taken from the Shanghai Expat, but look at where:
“Nextstep has found another great venue for our upcoming NextStep Tuesday. Join us at Roomtwentyeight Restaurant & Lounge, China’s first carbon neutral hotel. Enjoy an evening of great drinks and conversations with like-minded entrepreneurs. Hear from our Featured Guest: Scott Barrack, Director of URBN Hotels and Resorts. He will be on hand to discuss his firm’s unique investment and development strategy for China.”
China’s first carbon neutral hotel! Here’s the link to URBN.
Intrigued I went looking for more cn hotels and there are plenty out there claiming to be the first.
But China. The URBNS owners are American and Australian which is also illustrative. A lot of creative talent is migrating to China. Wish I could be there - for the meeting at least.
