Hegre Nudes and Porn For Women

Shocked by the behaviour of Edison Chen and his photos, somewhat perturbed by Britney Spears, disinterested in Pamela Andersen but intrigued by why Paris Hilton has to show off in public, I tried today to find the porn site I referenced earlier. In vain. I just couldn’t find it - the name had Twilight in there somewhere and so I went hunting down twilight in Google. It led me eventually to the photographs of Peter Hegre.
Hegre’s website credits him with having reinvented the female nude portrait - you can judge here. Seems like an enjoyable way to make a living. I also came across a few sites that advocate porn for women. I mean they assess good porn for girls (or good porn for women), querying the aesthetics and appeal of sites that offer porn for women. There’s another porn for women site here.
One is worth a look because it is a video. The video is of a discussion on the subject. It comes from the video syndication network.
I’m not sure what I think or feel about this subject. I was pretty definitive that the Edison Chen stuff marked a new era in the way we regard ourselves and I was surprised to find out that cameras are now sex toys. However something about the Herge nudes dismays me - perfect women, perfect bodies, perfect locations, make-up, lighting. On the other hand the porn for women sites are very cliched.
I’m pretty much lost for words on this one - what do you think?
