Edison Chen and His Camera

This blog doesn’t qualify as a gossip monger though sites like The Blemish are certainly fun reads. Nonetheless the Edison Chen story is intriguing. For those who didn’t catch it let me tell you where I picked up on the gossip - the Financial Times today.
The FT’s South China correspondent had a dig at Chen’s lighting skills. “He managed to render seven very beautiful women tawdry. Sometimes it can be hard to get the lighting right.” Wow, so the FT went looking for all seven sets of pix and got busy checking out the aesthetics.
The episode has put paid to Chen’s acting career. There were 4200+ comments on the Blemish article that covered Chen. I’ve never seen a comments list quite like that before and just my luck of the two photos I managed to find one was of Chen himself. The other had a beautiful young lady and her pubic hair. A foot can be seen pushing her legs apart.
Other gossip sites are also having a field day.
The really weird aspect of the pictures though is that Chen and his girlfriends are not taking the odd shy snap but dozens of photographs that they are actually posing for in pornographic situations. And also managng to take the photos, you know on shutter delay. The camera is part of the sex act and the relationship. I guess that must be the future and perhaps it is already normal. The pix actually document everything from undressing to oral sex. To me it’s weird but I could just need to get out more.
