To that last blog - one of the other ways I notice I am changing is that I am more inclined to ask what use I am to other people, situations, dialogues. Much of my work life has involved appearing to be an authority and that’s how my education taught me to behave. It’s a step change to take the other view and question what value you might bring and find a way of suggesting it. Instead of dictating terms you’re asking to join in.
