That Blog Optimisation Offer

Richard’s offer to review all the nominees to the Irish Blog awards for search engine optimisation is at once generous and a neat way to get links and sign-ups to his feed and have five hundred peopoe write about him. It’s the kind of tactical edge and skill I could do with but like Conor over at Argolon, the blog is less important than my other web work such as mydietfriends. Still I hope to learn something from this that I can transfer to there. Richard - be happy to talk about my diet friends as a project if you want to take a look. I think your post was a fabulous demonstration of your skills.

Mediangler is about how culture is affected by the web but I suppose its big weakness is it doesn’t have a target market. I write it in part so I can practice for when I do stuff in the Irish Times. it gives me a chance to research and say things. Given the fact that the Irish Times is behind a subscription wall I don’t get any web kudos from the articles that go in there. So I do a bit here instead.

Two questions richard asks I’m intrgued to know why. How old is the domain and how long have you been blogging. About six months is the answer to both here. Be fascinating to see what comes out the other side of this.
