Google Again

What about this from BusinessWeek: As expected, online retailer Amazon.com Inc. has objected to providing details about its book search feature to rival Google Inc., which says it needs them to fight copyright infringement allegations from a group of authors and book publishers.
The gist of it is a group of major publishers and the Authors’ Guild have now formed a class action against Google. Remember that settlement with advertisers who sued? You tend to think these matters are irksome for a company with Google’s clout but not so serious. Trouble but no great problem. However if the publishers win then they’ll also show that Google has a disgregard for the rights of other parties. I think that would be pretty damning if it should come to pass. Google though has a teflon coating.
