Gaming YouTube - Mashable’s Unmissable Post

I don’t think I’ve ever come across a post as damning as this one over at Mashable. I’m late on it - though that’s maybe to do with the US-European time difference, but surprised also not to see it up in Wall St analyst posts, blogs and the rest.
The gist is YouTube is easily gamed because it happily counts any hits including any number from the promoter of an upload. I sense a big lump in the throat of some Google execs if Peter Cashmore is right.
