India and The Global Start-Up

Just picking through a few pieces of old news this caught my eye - India a major base for US-backed start-ups.
New business “set up headquarters in Silicon Valley to take advantage of funding and ideas, but have major operations in places like Bangalore.”
Thats from the Hindustan Times. Why it’s interesting is I asked for advice on setting up a new venture recently and the advisor’s advice? Go to Silicon Valley. That tendency seems more pronounced than in the dot com days.
