New Roaming Video Nodes

Sometimes I’m a day late onto things, this time at least a week. It was reported first here, Michael Rosenblum is busy setting up a network of video news reporters around the US connurbations for the collection and distribution of news via cell, cable and web.
The idea is to recruit young people to video news for young people. I like the idea of alive and active networks of news gatherers for that demographic.
That initiative stayed with me when I read about a Times (London) article yesterday (I read it here) referring to one of Bill Gates observations a decade ago:
“Newspapers delivered a bundle of things — national, international and local news; brand advertising; classified advertising; event listings — that didn’t logically belong together as a bundle.”
The same is true of TV of course. I wonder does the term unbundling neatly sum up everything we’re living through?
