Sharing, Video Archiving and Online Video Editing.
When I first read the phrase “the digitisation of everyday life” I was taken aback. Surely people could not want to, could not be bothered to, digitise their everyday actions.
Amazingly enough the demand for a digital memory, as complete as possible, seems not to decline.
Stash Space provides users with a way to take old video tape and digitise it, as well as to cut and create movies from existing digital material.
There are obviously many many tools that will develop in this area. Tagloops is one of my favourites for sheer innovation.
Unlike word processing there’s no reason to believe that one solution will win out. Digital media is different from sharing documents. StashSpace allows users to stash, edit, share and publish videos in one place, which means it’s contending for a wide spread of business. Way to go!
I came across it at John Cook’s site, here.
