Here’s A Source of Great Content

Recently I was on the prowl for images of America in the 1950s and came across some great domestic movies of the 1950s.
The archive also handles the wayback machine, effectively the web’s history. There are about 27,000 open source movies on the site and there’s a whole chunk of the past. It surprised me how much the great industrial conglomerates shaped the American look but also too how influenced America was back then byEuropean design aesthetics. Seems we were all a litte closer in the past.
