Welcoming Visitors from Other Language Groups

Europeans are getting pretty good at communicating across their language barriers. Twenty years ago when I found myself in France, loving every minute of it too, my efforts at speaking the language were greeted with intolerance. Now I chatter away and nobody cares about the errors.

The bits of French, German and Spanish up top were all done with Babel Fish. I might try extending this and do a few blogs a week using the translator.

Leave comments in the language you speak. I can soon translate them and may even understand them anyway.

It’s time we broke down the barriers here and in other blogs. In that vein I went looking for companies or blogs that are trying to bridge the language gap. Here’s an American one, but I didn’t find a whole lot else apart from the translation software.

Anybody any clues where to look?
