Diversifying Views at My Name is Kate

There are few blogs in the technology sector (OK, I don’t know many of them) that take the trouble to express opinion on a range of issues but one such is My Name is Kate.

Something’s going on in the Canadian blog community that makes it stand out from a lot else that’s going on.

I made a decision early on to put all my food writing on a different blog even though I see technology and all kinds of culture as one big intersection. I made a mistake.

Kate covers the usual web 2.0 and web apps scene and combines it with views on film, food, art and the rest.

    Hi, Haydn - thanks for the shout out! It’s a struggle to decide what to keep on the “professional” blog and what to keep on the “personal”. I try to think about what my audience is interested in which sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t :-) I appreciate your encouragement!
