What’s Happening on Mediangler?

I thought it would be a worthwhile post to see what people are reading on mediangler.
First the numbers are going up fast, having tripled (unique vistors) in the past week or so.
Two things stand out though. I initiated a round up of European Web 2.0 and Web 2.0 pipelines projects during this period.
But the most popular posts by some margin are those that focus directly on content, like the article on Dan Myrick and his Web movie Venice Strand.
The surprise posts alongside that on Myrick are one on web video that has practical applictions and clear monetisation prospects, the growth of niche channels (there’s another example here) and channels that take on subjects neglected by the mainstream.
That’s not to say the European Web 2.0 hasn’t attracted attention and it’s only been there a short time so hasn’t had a chance to accumulate readers. Still I think it’s worth the observation that people are seeking out novel content.
Where are readers coming from? Principally of course the search engines but here too is a surprise. My yahoo referrals outnumber Google by three fold. Maybe I’m doing something wrong with Google SEO. Digg referrals also exceed google.
