A Web 2.0 Talkdown

When the national enterprise board here set up a Web 2.0 blog you had to start thinking things have really gone too far. Then looking across the web and coming across the new, new Internet, oh dear!

Not that these are not exciting times. Excuse the double negative. But has an industrial, commercial genre ever been propagated by so small a circle of publicists?

I’m a great admirer of American business culture and more so of the hunger for innovation but go to new, new Internet and see for yourself this is uncritical cheer-leader stuff.

The blogging world, seems to me, is doing us a disservice by not subjecting it to critical scrutiny.
